During the 1960's we were civil rights workers in the Southern Freedom Movement. In the years since, we've all gone our various ways in geography and politics, but regardless of where we are now most of us consider the Movement to be one of the defining experiences of our lives. We believe that the bonds forged in danger, struggle, defeat, and victory neither rust, nor wither with age. And like veterans of other wars, we wonder where old comrades have wandered and how they have fared.
If you were an activist in the Southern Civil Rights Movement during the 1960s with CORE, NAACP, SCLC, SNCC, SCEF, SSOC, Delta Ministry, Deacons for Defense, or other Southern Freedom Movement organization you are welcome to add yourself to this veterans roll.
