Janet Braun-Reinitz  (1938 – 2023)

On May 3rd, a slightly overcast and calm morning in Brooklyn, Janet Braun- Reinitz, 85, passed away surrounded by her family and an amazing collection of art. She died with few regrets, no fear, and the pure satisfaction of a life well lived. She said her cause of death was being done. If you are receiving this you were a significant and meaningful presence in her life. We will send out information pertaining to a Zoom memorial on May 21st (that she would have hated) soon. Below is her final piece of art, her memorial painting. It includes images from her many years of making art and fighting the good fights.
