Tesitmony: I responded to LCDC call for volunteer lawyers in June, 1964, traveling to Birminham for one week. The involvement was so much more important than anything I was doing I remained for three years, first with LCDC for the summer of 1964, then COFO through the Fall and Winter of 1964 and then until 1967 with the Legal Defense Fund, based in Jackson, Mississippi.
Description of the huge importance of the work to me and my life to follow.
