I lived in Atlanta where my husband worked in the Atlanta Braves office. I was a member of SCLC & NAACP. I participated in marches, helped with collecting blankets and food for the Selma march, put my oldest son in a Milwaukee Freedom School in 1963 and participated in the latter part of the Selma march. I knew Daddy King and heard him speak and I worked with Andrew Young's campaigns and cleaned Coretta's house after MLK died. I was a member of NAACP, but not active. I have spoken to groups in Springfield, MO where I now live.
