My mother and father were active and included me and my brothers. We marched in Tuscaloosa, Birmingham, Selma and Montgomery.
We were taught to be proud of who we were and our ancestors. We were taught that the family must always remain a unit including all, regardless of their circumstances. My mother taught us to love everyone, regardless of how they felt about us because we only had to answer for what we do.
I currently do workshops on financial planning and The Rights of Passage. I am very active in my church and community helping those that need a helping hand.
