I worked with SNCC until 1969,until I got sentenced to three years in the Atlanta prison for picketing downtown at the Atlanta draft board. Now residing in Sweden.
Jim Forman named me Night office manager when I came to SNCC. My job was to answer the phone and empty the trash. Later I was the communations director, and one of my first jobs was recording as much of the [Meredith] Mississippi march as possible.
